Sleeping is one of the most important parts of your life. In order to start a good day, you must have taken at least 6-8 hours of sleep. Many people could not sleep at nights and it is connected to how you wake up in the morning, how you spend you all day. Now let’s get to the most basic part of your preparation. You will need to have a good quality mattress to have a good night sleep which you let you relax when you will lie down on it after a busy day at work. If you are someone like me who spend 12-16 hours on a computer chair you might need a neck relaxation pillow with it as that would help you to relax your neck muscles as they have been strained all throughout the day.

  1. Maintain a schedule

Our mind is just like a computer we can program it to do certain takes. In order to prepare yourself for a good night sleep you have to follow a same schedule so your mind will be trained at what time what it has to do. Try waking up at the same time every day, To find an exact time when your mind is ready to sleep you should go on a vacation to some hills or mountains where you will spend some time camping with your friends away from all the electronic gadgets. During your trip you will find yourself getting tired and attracted to bed almost at the same time. You can keep track of that and apply it when you will be back to your routine life .

  1. Try avoiding alarms

You know there is a huge difference between getting up by yourself and getting up by an alarm. If you have slept for 20 minutes and wake up without an alarm is better than sleeping for an hour and woken up by an alarm. When we wake up through an alarm out mind is not ready tp wake up we are forced to get us prepared to get off our bed. If you are going go to bed at a certain time you will probably start waking up without an alarm. Hitting a snooze button is a worst way to start your day as you have already woken up by an alarm and then you are letting your mind being disturbed once again with another alarm this would be a bad start to your day.

Try not to have your TV, Computer or Laptop in your room where you are going to sleep. A research shows that people with no screens can sleep better than people who do have them so try to keep these electronic items away from you. Specially get rid of any blue light inside your room as research shows that blue lights sends a signal to your brain to stay up. So if your phone has a blue blinking led try to put it upside down or away from you.

  1. Separate Work and sleeping space

Now a days there are many entrepreneur’s and they are working from home. Few of them works and sleep in one room. We do not realize but out mind specify the place as a symbol to do different tasks. If we are working in a room then that room become the symbol of work so whenever we are in that room our mind will keep telling us that we have to do some work and it would take us some time to make us realize that it time to sleep. If you will only use your bed room to sleep so when you will get their and lie down your brain will directly send a signal to your brain that it is time to sleep and this would help you to sleep fast.

  1. Do not eat or drink just before bed

Your stomach needs time to process food or drinks such as juice or shakes. If you will eat and lie down there are chances that your food did not process and you will feel it undigested with a pressure around your chest and doing this for a longer period of time may cause you acidity problems.

  1. Do not work out just before going to bed

You should have a good workout early in the morning or by evening but if you are following a schedule which required you to do some dips before going to bed. You have to do that almost 1 hour ago before you go to bed when you are working out your blood flow gets faster and your mind focuses on your muscles so if you will do that just before going to bed it would be a hurdle between you and your sleep.
